DETECTION AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE SUBLUXATION

Chiropractic is related to the art of detection of vertebral subluxation and the art of its adjustment. This is performed via the chiropractor’s hands who needs training. It does not require force but precision, speed and direction determined by the arms and hands of the chiropractor. There are many different techniques and each one pursues the same goal, which is to correct the vertebral subluxation, allowing mental impulses to flow freely through the body again, restore the functions of the organism and keep it healthy.

Chiropractic profession has developed different methods in order to analyze the spine and discover subluxations. Each chiropractor selects those ones that considers more efficient and safe.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL AFTER THE ADJUSTMENT

Some people experiment peace and relax that usually leads them to a deep sleep.

Others feel a warm sensation.

Some other people feel very energetic and complete their tasks with greater comfort.

WHAT IS IT THAT CAUSES THOSE REACTIONS?

1- After receiving a chiropractic adjustment the organism begins to detox while the nerve interference is being removed from the whole body and not only from the neuromuscular-skeletal system, receiving a better supply of mental impulses after the adjustment and starting to work in an improved way.

2- Muscles react after chiropractic adjustment trying to realign the subluxated vertebrae. Very often these are muscles which have been less active and weak during years, months or days and as they begin to function again the person can feel pain, heat, tension or no change at all at the beginning. It depends on how long the person has had that segment subluxated. The muscle reaction is temporary and will disappear as soon as the tissue normalizes and begins to work correctly. Every process takes time.

3- Sometimes the nerves which have been suffering interferences for years are coming back to life and healing and soy they become sensitive. It is fundamental to remember that the amount of time recovery takes is directly proportional to the amount of time that vertebrae has been subluxated.
